RALLY TERRAS D'ABOBOREIRA, NEXT ROUND THIS WEEKEND FOR M-SPORT FORD WRC 2 FORMER DRIVER, WHO IS GOING TO REPEAT AT THE WHEEL OF ECOBOOST-POWERED FORD FIESTA R5 MKII MANAGED BY THE SPANISH TEAM, WITH WHICH HE WAS BATTLING FOR THE VICTORY FEW WEEKS AGO IN RALLY TERRE DE LOZÈRE.
ProRacing Competición is ready to face a new challenge! The Spanish team races for third week in a row. Adrien Fourmaux, one of the young drivers lined up this year by M-Sport Ford in WRC 2, the FIA World Rally Championship‘s premier support series, joins again the structure located in Cantabria to drive its EcoBoost-powered Ford Fiesta R5 MkII in Rally Terras d’Aboboreira, penultimate round of Portuguese Rally Championship.
The 25-years-old french talent, Rallye Jeunes series winner and french junior champion at the beginning of his promising career, competed already at the wheel of M-Sport-built car owned by Isabel Ortiz and Álvaro Velasco‘s team two months ago, when he finished second Rally Terre de Lozère, a French Gravel Rally Championship event where Adrien Fourmaux and his Belgian co-driver, Renaud Jamoul, were registered by M-Sport Ford with the purpose of getting rythm on gravel stages before WRC Rally Estonia.
That great experience for both of them, racing in a national event and doing their best to battle for the victory until the end, has made possible a new partnership between ProRacing Competición and M-Sport Ford WRC 2former competitor, who is going to drive again this weekend EcoBoost-powered Ford Fiesta R5 MkII managed by the Spanish team on the dusty and narrow gravel roads around Amarante area, in the north of Portugal.
